We paid off the balance of our $1,680,208 building loan at the end of May, which was two years ahead of schedule- thank you! Now it's time to celebrate this shared accomplishment. We will celebrate on Sunday, September 27th, which will include offering our thanks and praise in worship, 'burning the mortgage' outside after worship, and sharing in a celebration at Fellowship Time.  

Our celebration will have a Harvest theme as we gather in the harvest of our efforts and celebrate a renewed commitment to our church. We will have food, fellowship, and games for the kids. Also, we will create a Gratitude Wall in Fellowship Hall with gratitude cards that we will have the opportunity to make on Sunday, September 13 and 20. Make plans to join us in our time of celebrating!

Join us for worship either in our church sanctuary or online as we celebrate World Communion Sunday. Following worship we will have prayer stations in the Chapel for those wishing to participate in praying for our world.

Join us for a day to slow down, connect with other men, and make room for some questions we don’t always take time to ask: What is changing in my life and what might be emerging? Who am I apart from what I accomplish? What is still alive in me and waiting to be offered?

The day will include conversation, Scripture, music, interactive activities, and time for personal reflection and prayer. Pastor Jenny will join us as we close the day with a service of worship and communion. Morning coffee and refreshments will be available, and lunch will be provided.

Cost will be $15.

Greetings to all! We cordially invite you to join us for an unforgettable old-fashioned hymn sing! Get ready to experience the uplifting power of music under the expert direction of our talented musician, Michael W. Hillestad. No matter your religious background – whether you are Lutheran, Catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist, Presbyterian, or any other denomination – we share a common bond through the timeless and cherished hymns of faith.

This event is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to people from all walks of life. In these challenging times, it's heartwarming to know some gatherings foster community and shared joy. There's nothing quite like the pure exhilaration of singing inspiring songs together, and the sense of unity we find in these shared moments is truly special. We warmly encourage you to participate and sing along, but if you prefer to simply listen and soak in the beautiful melodies, you are more than welcome to do so. While we will have a selection of hymns prepared in advance, we will also be accepting your requests! We'll have handy note cards available so you can jot down your favorite hymn requests throughout the event. Many who have attended these gatherings in the past have expressed their deep appreciation for the uplifting atmosphere and the incredible artistry of Michael, who brings these hymns to life with his passion. We sincerely hope you will join us for this joyous celebration!

This exciting event will begin at 1:30 pm on Sunday, October 18th, at the Sun Prairie United Methodist Church, which is located at 702 North Street in beautiful Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. We will collect a free will offering for the Sunshine Supper Fund used by the church when it serves Sunshine Supper in the community 4 times a year. Be sure to invite everyone you know, and we look forward to seeing you!

Trick or Treat your way through the hallways of our education wing in your costume and receive lots of Halloween goods. You will stop at decorated doors throughout our building. This event is free and open to the community.
