With the coming of September, it means it’s time to once again begin our monthly gatherings of XYZ (Xtra Years of Zest). As in the past, we’ll meet on the third Wednesday of each month, which for September is the 17 th . We’ll gather at 1:00 for

dessert provided by Elaine Jellings, followed by a program. In September, Pastor Brad will be presenting a lecture with slides on the art and life of Auguste Renoir, one of the renowned French Impressionists. Don’t forget that friends are welcome!

Libby Schmidt, program manager for liver transplants for adults and children at the UW Health Transplant Center will present information about waiting for a transplant, organs that can be transplanted, how many people are waiting, how being a donor works and answer any questions you may have. Join us in our church building as we trick or treat in our hallways knocking on doors. Each door will be decorate and have treats to handout. Park in our parking lot on the south side of our building and follow the signs to the entrance on the north side.

It’s Sunday! Come - A - Singing

Come one, come all to an old fashioned hymn sing led by musician Michael W. Hillestad. Everyone is invited to join in song and community. While there will be selections previously made, requests will be taken at various points throughout the festivities. Come sing, or listen, to your favorite hymns with masterful accompaniments provided by Michael on either the piano or organ.

This exciting event will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Sunday, October 26th at the Sun Prairie United Methodist Church which is located at 702 North Street in beautiful Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

We will collect monetary and food donations for the Cardinal Heights Middle School Food Pantry. 

Save the dates of November 14, 15 & 16

We will be at the Pine Lake United Methodist Camp in Westfield. The retreat begins with dinner Friday and ends after morning worship on Sunday. All SPUMC women are welcome. More information to follow, including the cost & the program theme. Watch for information from Pastor Jenny & Lisa Wink as the date approaches.
