October Outreach Collection

Supporting our new neighbors to stay warm and comfortable this winter!

Open Doors for Refugees (ODFR) is partnering with Centro Hispano to help our refugee and immigrant community gather housewares and bedding. Becoming acclimated to Wisconsin winters can be challenging!

For the month of October, SPUMC Outreach Team is collecting:

NEW OR CLEAN, GENTLY USED THROWS AND BLANKETS, TWIN OR FULL/QUEEN.

BED PILLOWS, NEW.

Open Doors for Refugees is a volunteer-driven organization whose mission is to help refugees make a home in the Madison and Sun Prairie area. With support of the community, Open Doors collects furnishings and housewares to set up apartments, and provides translation, transportation, ESL, childcare, and employment services for refugees.
