Sun Prairie UMC is seeking part time workers to provide Nursery Care
We are looking for two people who can be a part of our team for providing good childcare for worship and other activities throughout the week and in the evenings. Individuals who apply for these positions will need to have a love for children and a commitment to helping children experience God's love in a safe environment. We are looking for a Nursery Care Coordinator and a Nursery Care Specialist. Flamingo Flocking!!!
Through the month of May:
Flamingo flocking as a fundraiser everyone can be involved in! It's a way to pull a great-but friendly-prank on a friend. Here's how it works: First purchase a flock. There are different sized flocks to choose from! Once you have decided what size you wand and who you want to flock, fill out the order form. Our youth will then sneak into the yard of the flovking victim at night and set up the flamingos in the flocked persons yard. One of the flamingos will have an explination of what the flocking is for and when they will be picked up. You can tell the person they are being flocked, or leave it a surprise. Our youth will come back to the flocked house the next night and pick up the flamings and take them to the next person's house who is to flocked! Brat Sale and FREE Car Wash!
June 2nd from 10-3 our youth will be cleaning your cars and filling your bellies. Come see us in the Sentry parking lot. We will be in the back parking lot of Sentry washing any and every vehicle you can bring us. The dirtier the better. And while you wait for your car to be sparkling clean go and fill your bellies at our Brat stand in the front parking lot of Sentry. All proceeds go to our Summer Youth Trips.
Family Camping Fun!

Familiy Ministries is sponsoring a Family Camping Fun event from 4-6pm. It will be an afternoon of fun, games, campfire, cookout, and even a couple of tents to play in. This time is especially designed for the youngest of SPUMC's members but all are invited to join us! Help us teach our kids that camping is a great way to get closer to God!
Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall in the next couple of weeks (at the Family Ministries bulletin board). $1 per family member; bring your own lawn chairs or blanket. A loose coin offering will be taken to support Rising Sun Camp!

Loose Coin Offering
For April, May, & June we will be donating the loose change in the offering to UMCOR- the United Methodist Committee on Relief. Having seen the terrible damage across the US following the tornadoes this spring, we will make our offering to UMCOR "US Disaster Response." The UMCOR Advance number is 901670 (Tornadoes 2012). Thank you for making an effort to dump the coins from your pockets & change jars to help others during this time!
