If you are not already receiving our Monday Devotional Word of the Week or our weekly Thursday email that outlines what is happen in the life of this faith community please reach out to the church office at 837-5554 or so we can get you on this email list. Our Word of the Week devotional is now also on our Podcast channel. You can now listen to the Word of the Week as well as read it.

*A reminder that the Spirit of Giving gifts are due back today.

*Join us for our Advent study at 9:45 today in the Conference Room and also at noon on Wednesdays.

*Pick up an Advent devotional book when you leave worship. The devotions were written by members and friends of SPUMC. There is a devotion for each day of the Advent season.

*We are looking forward to our Live Nativity again this year on Saturday, December 17th. We have filled the character roles, but could use help with clean up after the Live Nativity. This would be from 7-8 pm after the event on Dec. 17 or on Sunday morning, Dec. 18 anytime between 9-noon. See Deb Mulhern if you can help.

*We are collecting items during Advent to help our neighbors. We are collecting socks and undergarments for children to teens. These will be shared with the SP Community Schools and the YWCA. You may bring items anytime during Advent.

*Next weekend will be our December collection to support a food pantry. This month we are supporting the Northside Elementary School food pantry with personal hygiene items. You may bring items to the church parking lot on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9-11 am or bring things to church with you next Sunday.

*Our Annual Church Conference will be held in person on Thursday, December 8 at 6:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. Church Conference is a time to celebrate our ministry and also elect leadership for the coming year.

*Join us for worship next Sunday at 8:30 or 10:45 or on the livestream. Next Sunday will be the third Sunday of Advent, which is the Sunday of Joy. Next Sunday, our children will share a short Christmas story video during the time with Children in worship.
