This weekend is World Communion weekend, a time when we remember and give thanks for the Sacrament of Communion that we share with our Christian sisters and brothers around the world. You will want to have bread and juice or water ready to share together in this Sacrament during worship. You may want to try a different kind of bread than you would typically eat as a symbol of our diversity as God’s people.

We will also kick off our annual stewardship focus for the month of October. With this being our 175th anniversary of being a faith community in Sun Prairie and our year of Gratitude, our stewardship theme is “175 Years of Gratitude.” The scriptures this weekend will be Psalm 19:7-14 and Matthew 21:33-46. Pastor Jenny’s sermon is titled “Grateful for the Cornerstone.”
