SUN PRAIRIE COMMUNITY HELP ORGANIZATION COLLECTION   The Sun Prairie Community Help Organization has invited all churches to be a part of a special campaign for the Sun Prairie Food Pantry.  During the Christmas season, many families make use of the Food Pantry and it's important that we share the love of Christ by sharing these items:

TOOTHPASTE

SIZE 3 DIAPERS

During November and the early part of December, we will be making a DIAPER MOUNTAIN in fellowship hall, as well as a WALL OF TOOTHPASTE!

Our goal: 200 packages of size 3 diapers and 200 tubes of toothpaste!

All products will be shared with families in need, packaged in a nice holiday gift basket. 

 

THE GIVING TREE  The Sun Prairie Community Help Organization (responsible for making Christmas a little bit brighter for families in need) is inviting us to participate in the Giving Tree this holiday season.  Special gift tags will be hanging from the Giving Christmas Tree in Fellowship Hall.  You are invited to select a gift tag ... or two or three!  Please sign out your gift tags on the sign-out sheet provided.  On the tag, you will find the information needed to purchase a clothing item for a child in need.  The tag will indicate boy/girl, age, size and the clothing item requested.  Please return the gift item by placing it under the Giving Christmas Tree in Fellowship Hall by the due date indicated on the tag.  DO NOT WRAP THE GIFTS!  You can provide wrapping paper, if you wish, but please DO NOT WRAP THE GIFTS.  It is extremely important that the gift tag accompany the gift.  Thank you for sharing in the joy of giving and receiving.  

 

COOKIE WALK   The annual Cookie Walk will take place on Saturday morning, December 12 in Fellowship Hall.  Get ready to fix some of your best, your favorite, your most fancy Christmas cookies!  We invite the community to purchase our baked goods.  All proceeds support missions: Harbor House Crisis Shelters, a United Methodist ministry in Superior, WI and Home Mission Fund, a local outreach ministry helping Sun Prairie families in need.  Remember to BAKE, SHOP and EAT!

 

FOOD PANTRY CONCERT   A Christmas Concert to benefit the Sun Prairie Area Food Pantry on Friday, December 4, 7pm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Dr, Sun Prairie.  The Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry is once again holding its annual Christmas concert.  You can enjoy the musical talents of area churches (including some of our fantastic music groups).  This is an ecumenical effort to raise money for the Food Pantry.  The concert is free of charge, with a free-will offering taken, as well as any non-perishable items for the Food Pantry.  The evening will conclude with a reception.  Please come and enjoy the sounds of Christmas.
