SCRIP Volunteer Guidelines

SCRIP is an easy way to earn money towards your youth trip. As a SCRIP volunteer, each youth will be teamed up with an adult from our congregation to work the SCRIP table on a rotating basis. Because LOGOS begins in October each year, your SCRIP commitment will run from October through September of the following year. Even though the trip is over in July or August, we must still work your scheduled shifts through the end of the SCRIP year.
Volunteers who sign up will need to provide a phone number and email address. Volunteers who are earning credit towards summer trips are scheduled at random and cannot choose which specific dates or service times to be scheduled.
A reminder will be emailed to you one week prior to your scheduled shift. A list of volunteer’s names, phone numbers and email addresses will be attached to each SCRIP reminder email. It is YOUR responsibility to find a replacement if you are unable to work your scheduled shift.
Without your commitment, SCRIP will not be a success. Please make every effort to be present for your scheduled shift. NO SHOWS cannot be tolerated. Families with 2 or more NO SHOWS will be removed from the SCRIP volunteer list, and credit for this year’s SCRIP sales will not be given.
It is not only important to get the congregation interested in this EASY fundraiser, but it is important for all of our youth families to buy SCRIP. The more we sell, the more a credit will be worth in the end..... and EVERYONE needs gas, groceries, clothing, etc. We're not asking people to buy something they wouldn't use.
