The mission of Adult and Caring Ministries is to provide programs for spiritual growth, educational opportunities, and fellowship for adults of all ages, as well as outreach and support to people in the transitions of life. SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND STUDY
- Sunday morning Bible study at 9:40
- Parenting classes on Sunday morning at 9:40
- Disciple Bible studies Monday evenings at 6:30 pm
- Esther Circle (women’s study group), first Thursday morning of the month at 9:30 am
PRAYER AND SERVICE
- Prime Movers outreach group (help church family members with projects that need extra help)
- Knit One/Pray One, fourth Monday of the month at 10 am
- Prayer Shawl Ministry
- Meal Ministry
- Caring Visitors (at home caring ministry visitations)
- Prayer chains via phone and email
- Worship services each month in retirement and health care facilities
- Blood pressure screenings, 2nd Sunday of the month at 9:40 am
- Petal Pushers (beautification of church grounds), spring, summer, and fall
- Mentoring of confirmation students, some Wednesday evenings during school year
- Volunteering in LOGOS program for youth
- Adult and Caring Ministries Committee
- Longest Night Healing Service
FELLOWSHIP
- XYZ, for retirees (program and luncheon), third Tuesday of the month at 11 am
- Dinner Out (for singles and couples of all ages) third Friday or Saturday of the month
- Friday Friends (dinner for parents of school-aged children), one Friday evening every other month
- Craft group, second Friday of the month at 6 pm
- Book Discussion Group, second Thursday of the month at 1 pm
- Coffee Connection, second Monday of the month at 10 am
