Summer Study

Do you ever find yourself Thinking About God? Beginning Monday, July 12 at 6:30 PM, Rev. Scott will lead an eight week class that has us reflecting upon God and working on spiritual practices.  For the class we will be reading Marcus Borg's book, The God We Never Knew.   Contact Rev. Disciple l Bible Study

Disciple: Becoming Disciples throgh Bible Study is a dynamic approach to Bible Study. during the 34-week course, you will read 70% of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. You will get to know other participants well. DISCIPLE is a transformational study, inviting people to reflect upon their faith and what they are studying. Rev. Scott Carlson is the primary leader of this first course. Classes begin Monday, September 14, 2009 at 6:30 p.m.  Contact Rev. Scott if you are interested.

Adult Church School

Meets each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in the church library.

Discerning God's Presence in Our Lives is the focus for the first few weeks. This class is for any adult interested in Bible Study and sharing with a group - it's a great way to meet other adults. If you wish, bring your favorite Bible.

Parenting Teens

Meets each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in Room 144/145 (large classroom near Chapel), beginning September 12, 2008.
Facilitator:  Rev. Susan Bresser and Deb Carlson

Parents of teens are invited to participate! Texts we will study are This Too Shall Pass: encouragement for parents who sometimes doubt their teens were created in the image of God; and HELP! There's a Teenager in My House! Books are available to purchase. This class is a great way to meet other parents and share the challenges, concerns, and certainly joys of raising healthy and happy teenagers! Bring a cup of coffee and donut and join in the discussion!
